Bye bye 2009!

2009 has been a very peaceful year for me – as a happy couple we celebrated our very first anniversary, the most wanted shift in my career has nearly fallen into my hands, I had an amazing international vacation, I’ve managed to understand my in-laws and overcome all expectations, my prayers have kept my parents in good health and cheer all through this year, my dearest brother has also managed to balance things in life which is a great relief to me, my little niece Harshitha is growing up and amazing me with her aptitude and behaviour every time we meet…I cant ask for more!

Kumz and me have dinned in the best of restaurants; we’ve eaten almost all kinds of food and shopped till we actually became tired. Movies, games, re-creation etc have all been so fine and so good! I found several new friends, met some interesting personalities, gained new experiences and also renewed several old relationships. Above all, the love of my life is very happy and thats exactly what I always wish for in life. The love and friendship we share is growing enormously with our understanding and affection getting better day-by-day! Today being the last day of the year I am overly excited about my accomplishments.

Since this morning for some reason, I’ve been thinking hard to recall one of the prayers I used to say in school before every period. Just feeling like saying it today because I feel so good….
‘Thank you God for the world so sweet,
Thank you God for the food we eat,
Thank you God for the birds that sing,
Thank you God for every thing’.

My prayer for 2010 (this is again a him that I used to sing in school). Its so meaningful and it speaks of the desire that God goes with you into the future to help you live out your vows.
'Make me a channel of your peace.
Where there is hatred let me bring your love;
Where there is injury your pardon, Lord;
And where there's doubt true faith in you.

Refrain:
Oh, Master grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love with all my soul.

Make me a channel of your peace.
Where there's despair in life let me bring hope;
Where there is darkness, only light;
And where there's sadness, ever joy.
Refrain

Make me a channel of your peace.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
In giving to all men that we receive;
And in dying that we're born to eternal life.
Refrain

Wish you a very very happy and peaceful 2010.
