Catching up....

Often in life we continue living with a lot of guilt. Sometime its accidental and cannot be avoided but most of the time it’s because we do not give it a serious thought or due consideration.I am so guilty of not doing justice to my MBA. Gotta complete this somehow, but am nowhere close to figuring out how? Similarly, am so guilty of not reading enough, not waking up early in the morning so that I can catch up on reading, exercise etc.

On top of my guilt list is – Not updating my dear dear dear blog, the space that I created for myself in this world with a lot of passion! Though I have many many things in mind which I would like to write about and express, its just not happening. But this guilt is causing a lot of stress in my mind and I’ve decided to give it my best shot. So here we go with some updates…

Having moved to ECC, there are many good things happening in life. I’ve completed several projects in these three months. The most remarkable achievement being – ‘Reflections’, a booklet on ECC’s Recreation Club activities and a souvenir called ‘Art Heritage of India’ comprising of paintings by a well-known painter Mr.Rajam (my boss’s Mama). These books were released at an event by L&T’s CFO Mr.Y.M Deostalee. It was a moment of pride! In the beginning of last month, I had the opportunity to travel to Delhi to visit DIAL- Delhi International Airport Limited. Needless to say, it was a amazing experience.

ECC is buzzing with activity all the time. The campus is amazing with its award winning huge buildings and it’s a great feeling when you walk into this place every day (though I always wish to be paid a little more). Invariably there is some inauguration, stall, mela, carnival, health check-ups etc happening all the time around the campus. Above all, the food here is pretty good. Soups, veggie salads, fruits, butter milk….quite a balanced and nutritious meal at a really subsidized cost.

I’ve become a member at PRSI (Public Relations Society of India) and managed to attend two meetings successfully (one of the advantages of being a part of a large organization where the company bears your membership fee). So life is all smooth and peaceful. Am working very hard at work and am proud about it !
